We spent years in the Calgary Buffaloes system training both on and off the ice throughout our quadrant years, mastering the small details that make the biggest difference.

With experience in the Calgary Buffaloes AAA system - and Jesse currently playing Buffaloes AA - Kuy, Danny, Jesse, and Willy understand firsthand what it takes both on and off the ice to reach the next level.Kuy and Danny bring over five years of coaching experience with SSS, along with Breakaway Power Skating and the Airdrie Stars, and are now Power Edge Pro Certified (PEP) instructors.

WHAT WE DO

The SSS Garage Lab

ELITE HANDS START OFF THE ICE

LOCATION: The Off-Ice Lab (Sundance, Calgary)

THE PROCESS:

  • When the gap closes at game speed, puck control matters. Our off-ice lab uses Power Edge Pro (PEP) reactive equipment and training props to train stickhandling, shooting, and quick reactions.

  • What to Expect: High-repetition, high-intensity puck control and shooting sessions designed for Game Transfer.

  • Guided Drills: We build the muscle memory and provide the feedback that allows you to make plays under pressure without thinking.

  • The Vibe: Small focused groups (max 2 players).

PRICING:

  • 1 Player: $55 (60-minute session)

  • 2 Players: $80 (60-minute session)

In-Person Evaluations

DIGITAL SKILL REPORT

LOCATION: Your Local Hockey Rink

THE PROCESS:

  • We bring a scouting lens to your local games or practices to identify exactly why you aren't making that next jump.

  • Live Assessment: we attend your game or practice in person.

  • Advanced Metrics: We track skating, shooting, decision-making, battle win rates and other skill areas - see evolvestats.com.

  • The Roadmap: You receive a professional, detailed development report outlining your "Gaps"

  • The Goal: Objective, honest feedback that leads to real growth.

PRICING:

  • Bronze - $80: An evaluation of a recorded game or practice video (shared by parent) followed by a comprehensive digital report card.

  • Silver - $120: An in-person evaluation conducted during a live game or practice session with a detailed performance report provided afterward.

  • Gold - (popular) $150: A live in-person evaluation of a game or practice featuring a performance report and a private review session with the player.

On-Ice Training

HIGH-TEMPO. POSITION-SPECIFIC. GAME-FOCUSED.

LOCATION: Your Local Hockey Rink (Calgary & Surrounding Areas)

THE PROCESS:

  • Skill-focused development performance goals. We bridge the gap between "drills" and "game-play".

  • Customized Development: We tailor sessions to your needs - from foundational stickhandling, power skating and shooting to high-level Hockey IQ.

  • Specialized Training: High-intensity sessions focused on puck control, positioning, and decision-making.

  • Advanced Systems: Full Power Edge Pro (PEP) sessions (PEP certified) available for reactive countering and edge control.

  • The Goal: Position-specific growth that turns your weaknesses into assets.

PRICING:

  • $120/hr: Small Group Training (1-4 players).

  • $150/hr: Team & Large Group Sessions (5+ players).

  • Note: Travel fees apply for sessions outside of Calgary. Pricing does not include ice rental.
